Welcome to the CEBCRD! We have a new year ahead, with a new board, a new program and a new website. There are great opportunities for collaboration between business from our countries, and businesses from the DR. Our countries and businesses are known for their excellence in many areas. Our social system, education, innovation and public governance are among the best in the world. We have shown that also small economies can make a difference. It is our objective to make our knowledge and experiences available to interested parties in the DR. People from “our” countries value quality of life. Fresh fruit, vegetables, chocolate, and many other products for which the DR is well known, are high on our agenda. A great opportunity for for both communities, to match supply and demand, and establish sustainable trade. Showing local business the way to “our ” region is part of our strategic objectives. The DR has proven to be an excellent market for some of “our” leading companies. The ideal geographic position of the DR and the excellent trade agreements the DR has established, have created excellent third market opportunities for “our” companies. A clear win/win, since this provides economic growth opportunity for all. Our chamber will work hard with interested companies to establish themselves in the DR in order to get most out of local and third market opportunities, and to stimulate the economic growth of the DR.
